You know when you go into an interview and they say, “Now, tell us a little bit about yourself.” And you start to freak out and think, “What do I say?” That’s me. *Awkwardly laughs*
I’m terrible when it comes to telling others about myself. I get super uncomfortable and awkward to the point where I just want to hide my face and pretend the world doesn’t exist. Okay, so that’s a bit extreme, but I hate being put on the spot. For the most part, though, I usually just ignore my awkwardness and tell people about my jolly self in the best way possible.
Like right now.
Hi! My name is Sarah.
I’m 22 years old and I live in a small town in Ohio with my parents and three younger sisters. I have two cats, Rascal and Figaro, who I adore…well, maybe not Figaro. He can be a pain in my petunia. But Rascal is definitely my baby. And I also have two cute and obnoxiously loud Papillons named Daisy and Monarch.
I’m also a huge Jesus lover. My faith is very important to me and something I take quite seriously. God has always been a part of my life and always will be. I honestly don’t know who I’d be today without Him and I’m thankful I never had to find out.
In addition to that, I’m a giant weirdo.
I love musicals (Calamity Jane and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers are my go-tos).
I love any classical movies if Katherine Hepburn or Carry Grant are in them.
I’ve watched Pride and Prejudice at least 50 times.
I love music (especially 80s, Celtic, Country, and Christian pop).
I am someone who will randomly burst out in song and quote a movie/show.
I like to talk about myself in third person. Don’t look at me like that. I know you do it, too.
I am a chocolate and coffee fanatic with an extremely weird obsession with bacon. Yes, you read that right. BACON. My foodie lover. My other fatty half. The one I can’t live without. The…okay I think you get it. But just in case, I have two bacon t-shirts, one-of-a-kind bacon band-aids, baconopoly (monopoly, just the greasier version), and a dancing bacon blanket that my grandmother made for me. I know, I know. I have an issue. But I’m okay with that.
I’m a nature and wildlife photographer.
I LOOOVE books. *Obviously. Hence the book blog*
I love Disney movies. They my jam.
I would love to become an author someday. *Dreamy eyes*
I’ve always had a dream of opening my own orphanage in another country and loving on children for the rest of my life.
And I hope that I do my best each and every day to love, serve, and help others.
I think that’s it for now. 🙂
